Closed Bedside Table

Beautifully made Mid-Century Modern style closed bedside Table. Originally made by west elm. The piece has solid eucalyptus legs and frame with wood sides with I believe an acacia veneer.

This was already in good condition except for a little scuffing and chipping to the wood veneer. I have repaired these and then scuff sanded the whole unit. Used Rust-Oleum Dark Grey paint on the sides and top. The paint was gloss but I have pulled this back to a satin finish with a coat of polyacrylic to offer better paint protection and give what I think is a better finish and overall look.

For the legs and drawers, I have applied 2 fresh coats of Danish oil. The result is a modern, solid and beautiful piece of furniture.

Packaging

Safe delivery of the furniture is of top importance and every piece is wrapped carefully to ensure your furniture arrives in perfect condition, please inspect your furniture upon delivery but also be careful if using knives to remove packaging.

Note on upcycling furniture Condition and aftercare

All pieces are hand painted and/or restored and finished with a great deal of care. However, you should note that all pieces are pre-owned and therefore may include signs of wear and tear as you would expect with age. Most pieces are painted in a hardwearing paint and protected with sealing coats of either varnish, lacquer or furniture wax etc. Cleaning should only need a wipe with a micro fibre cloth.
