Dark Deco: Lounge Sideboard: Tudor Deco fusion in Charcoal, Gold & Black

Tudor Art Deco Fusion: This Tudor style reproduction mid-century (also slightly Victorian?) sideboard is now an incredible looking Art Deco sideboard, keeping its Tudor carvings on the cupboard doors and styling.  This has taken a lot of work, with building new drawers and back and several repairs. However, I’m very pleased with the end results and captured the Dark art Deco look I was going for. The paint is charcoal and printed art deco design on the drawers, sides, top and inside cupboard doors. The top was to be left as a wooden finish originally but couldn’t get to the finish I wanted so went for the print, but I think this looks even better! The whole thing then painted with many, many coats of polyurethane varnish to protect the paint and print.

Upcycled and crafted with precision, and designed with love, this unique piece promises to enhance any space it graces.

Packaging

Safe delivery of the furniture is of top importance and every piece is wrapped carefully to ensure your furniture arrives in perfect condition, please inspect your furniture upon delivery but also be careful if using knives to remove packaging.

All pieces are hand painted and/or restored and finished with a great deal of care. However, you should note that all pieces are pre-owned and therefore may include signs of wear and tear as you would expect with age. Most pieces are painted in a hardwearing paint and protected with sealing coats of either varnish, lacquer or furniture wax etc. Cleaning should only need a wipe with a micro fibre cloth.
