This beautifully restored mid‑century dressing table has been given a new lease of life through a meticulous, handcrafted transformation. What began as a structurally sound but heavily neglected piece has now become a modern statement of style.

Every stage of the restoration was carried out with care:

Painted in Small & Co’s ‘Hadrian’s Moss’ furniture paint, chosen for its rich depth and smooth, modern look. The paper is called ‘Eden Leaf Green’ applied to the drawer fronts and sides for a bold botanical aesthetic. Two coats of a water‑based satin lacquer for durability and a soft sheen finish. Modern diamond‑cut style glass knobs added to complete the look with a touch of elegance.

The result is a one‑of‑a‑kind dressing table that blends mid‑century charm with contemporary artistry. Perfect for a bedroom, dressing room, or creative space, this piece is both functional and visually striking.

Packaging

Safe delivery of the furniture is of top importance and every piece is wrapped carefully to ensure your furniture arrives in perfect condition, please inspect your furniture upon delivery but also be careful if using knives to remove packaging.

Note on upcycling furniture Condition and aftercare.

All pieces are hand painted and/or restored and finished with a great deal of care. However, you should note that all pieces are pre-owned and therefore may include signs of wear and tear as you would expect with age. Most pieces are painted in a hardwearing paint and protected with sealing coats of either varnish, lacquer or furniture wax etc. Cleaning should only need a wipe with a micro fibre cloth.
