Reimagined Bureau Cocktail Bar

Some pieces are born twice - and this one came back with a twist of lime.

Originally upcycled as a classic bureau desk restored vintage bureau, lovingly brought back to life with a rich "Royal Navy" furniture paint and finished with a satin lacquer and with a decoupage design ‘Japanese garden’ added to the side, doors and inside the drawers.

However, this beautifully unit has now been transformed again into a statement cocktail bar with real personality. It’s the perfect blend of vintage craftsmanship and modern living.

Open the drop‑front door and the whole piece comes alive:

• A mirrored interior creates a warm, inviting glow
• Movement lighting adds a contemporary edge, highlighting your favourite spirits
• Stemmed glass racks keep your martini and coupe glasses ready for action

• A generous mixing surface folds down to become your personal bartending stage

Inside, there’s space for bottles, tools, books, and all the essentials - whether you’re shaking an Old Fashioned or pouring a quiet nightcap. The exterior features a nature‑inspired design with soft, muted tones and delicate detailing, giving the bar a refined elegance even when closed.

This is more than a cocktail bar. It’s a conversation starter and piece of functional art that brings character to any room.

The internal light is removable (magnetic) for recharging.

Packaging

Safe delivery of the furniture is of top importance and every piece is wrapped carefully to ensure your furniture arrives in perfect condition, please inspect your furniture upon delivery but also be careful if using knives to remove packaging.

Note on upcycling furniture Condition and aftercare.

All pieces are hand painted and/or restored and finished with a great deal of care. However, you should note that all pieces are pre-owned and therefore may include signs of wear and tear as you would expect with age. Most pieces are painted in a hardwearing paint and protected with sealing coats of either varnish, lacquer or furniture wax etc. Cleaning should only need a wipe with a micro fibre cloth.
