Small 3 drawer dresser with art deco style brass handles. From shabby to deco chic!

This small and charming three drawer dresser has been lovingly restored to bring out its full potential. Previously painted in a ’Shabby Chick’ look in light cream. After careful restoration, the brass handles were scrubbed back to their original brass art deco style, and a new plain oak veneer board top was added to give a clean looking utility surface.

The rest of the unit was in solid condition, requiring only minor repairs to address a few dents and scratches. After a thorough sanding and cleaning to prepare the surface, I applied two coats of ‘Small & Co’ furniture paint in ‘Hackney Carriage’ black. This premium quality paint offered exceptional coverage and required no primer or undercoat needed.

To complete the piece, I applied a coat of lacquer for added durability and to achieve a sophisticated satin sheen. The result is a timeless, functional piece, ready to be enjoyed for years to come.

Collection from near Morpeth in Northumberland, or £40 delivery within 1 to 2 weeks to most of mainland Britain.

Packaging

Safe delivery of the furniture is of top importance and every piece is wrapped carefully to ensure your furniture arrives in perfect condition, please inspect your furniture upon delivery but also be careful if using knives to remove packaging.

Note on upcycling furniture Condition and aftercare.

All pieces are hand painted and/or restored and finished with a great deal of care. However, you should note that all pieces are pre-owned and therefore may include signs of wear and tear as you would expect with age. Most pieces are painted in a hardwearing paint and protected with sealing coats of either varnish, lacquer or furniture wax etc. Cleaning should only need a wipe with a micro fibre cloth.
